Ratho, the centre of the Community Council area, is located in the rural west of Edinburgh approximately 8 miles to the west of the city centre on the banks of the historic Union Canal. Our area includes Bonnington, Hatton, Ratho Station and Newbridge, stretching past Ingliston and Gogar, approximately between the A71 and the Airport and between the City Bypass and the boundary with West Lothian Council.
